Sally Dixon

I have over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry including roles as Fashion Editor and Fashion Director at several magazine titles. After gaining a degree in Fashion Journalism from the London College of Fashion I worked my way up to Fashion Editor at B Magazine. I then spent 5 fun-filled years working as Fashion Director for wedding magazine titles including Cosmopolitan Bride (Hearst UK), You & Your Wedding magazine and Wedding Style Magazine (where I am currently a Contributing Editor).

From 2011-2018 I took some time out from the magazine industry to launch my own sportswear brand, Every Second Counts, taking on the role of Founder & Creative Director.

I have worked as a freelance stylist for a variety of advertising clients including Boots, Monsoon, O’Neill Europe, Goldsmiths, Thorntons, Special K, Nintendo, Elle UK, St. Tropez, Veet, The Times Magazine, and Good Housekeeping. Styling, directing, and producing shoots in Australia, Africa, Asia, Europe, Russia, and the USA.

I have a unique skill set in that I work on styling and art direction projects as well as content and copywriting on a wide variety of topics from bridal, fashion, and menswear to nutrition, lifestyle, cooking, and Pilates. A regular contributor to AlgarvePLUS magazine, I’m also a qualified Balanced Body Pilates instructor, CNM Natural Chef, and IHS Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach.
